Will the premium WordPress themes controversy ever end?

It’s been more than a year since premium WordPress themes first gained attention and finally became commonplace. But the debate over whether one should make or purchase such themes still hasn’t died out. Blogs like Upstart Blogger and ThemeShaper continue to raise this issue.
